Pee Wee Picasso
Three Day-a-Week,
School Year Program
Pee Wee Picasso offers young children a creative start to their education, with a specific focus on the right side of the brain. Academic subjects are integrated into this unique year-long introduction to the arts and artistic process. Students draw, paint and sculpt with quality art materials--watercolors, acrylics, oil and chalk pastels, red Navajo clay, sculpey and Model Magic. They also are introduced to music--with weekly classes taught by one of our private music teachers. Other key aspects to the program include foreign language (they will become familiar with French words, phrases and songs), cooking and gardening. Finally, there is time to play outside and use their imaginations.

Our fall program begins September 4, 2013. Students attend this course three times a week during the school year and families commit to the program for the entire nine months. It has very limited space and requires early registration. Please call the Center for registration information.
Class Times:
Monday 10 am-noon
Wednesday 10 am-noon
Friday 10 am-noon
Tuition:
$285/Month, 9 equal payments
$100 Non-refundable materials fee
Did You Know...
...scientists believe the neural pathways formed by early art and music exposure are the same pathways later used for math and reading--making these academic subjects easier for kids who've had a "right brain" pre-school education?
Also, "creativity" is gaining more research interest--and is theorized to be the single most important quality needed in most disciplines--medicine, science, politics, business--as well as the arts.
