Art, Music & Movement
One- or Two Day-a Week,
School Year and Summer Program
Art, Music & Movement is offered for the 3-5-year-old artist, and is available during the school year and throughout the summer. The fall program runs August 22, 2011-May 26, 2012 and can be started at any time. Students explore their senses in a warm and nurturing setting while learning to work with watercolors, acrylics, clay and many other art media. They will also have adventures in drama, dance and movement, plus explore music formally (bells, percussion, recorder and piano) and informally (dancing and singing).

WHAT MAKES THESE OUTSTANDING PROGRAMS FOR PRESCHOOLERS?
Pee Wee Picasso
Three Day-a-Week,
School Year Program
Pee Wee Picasso offers young children a creative start to their education, with a specific focus on the right side of the brain. Academic subjects are integrated into this unique year-long introduction to the arts and artistic process. Students draw, paint and sculpt with quality art materials--watercolors, acrylics, oil and chalk pastels, red Navajo clay, sculpey and Model Magic. They also are introduced to music--from learning black-and-white piano keys and the recorder to dancing and singing. Finally, there is time to garden, play outside and use their imaginations.

It has very limited space and requires early registration. Please call the Center for registration information.
